After a good show in the first round, Ajax Queens Football return to action on Saturday as the second round of the Fufa Women Elite league gets underway.
The Football Queens will make the trip to Wakiso to take on Rinnes Women's Football Club targeting victory to maintain their status quo.
In second place on 13 points, Ajax Queens still harbour the hopes of reaching the playoffs this season and head coach Michael Natima believes his team is in good shape ahead of the game.
" It is tricky game for us because Rinnes WFC are a good team. We edged them in the first round but that's history. We go to Wakiso hoping for maximum points," he said.
Midfielder Phiona Nabumba who will be facing her former side is unfazed about meeting her former employers and indicates she is ready to help Ajax Queens win on Saturday.
" The focus for me now is to help Ajax Queens win and all of us as players we are focused and ready for the game," she noted before adding,
" I played for Rinnes and I respect the team because they nurtured me but currently I'm an Ajax Queens player and I will give full commitment," added Nabumba.
