Coach Natima picks positives from loss to Kawempe
Ajax Queens head coach Michael Natima
Ajax Queens suffered the first loss this season after falling 2-0 to Kawempe Muslim in the game played at Buddo SS on Sunday.
However, despite the loss, head coach Michael Natima believes the team put up a good fight and expects to rectify the mistakes before the next game.
" I want to laud the players for the spirit and performance exhibited in the game. It is hurting that we lost the game but we gave a good account of ourselves," said the coach.
The tactician also believes, his team got chances to take score in the game but failed to put them away.
" We had moments where we could have punished them but we were not clinical enough in front of goal and that cost us in the end."
The manager adds that he together with the coaching staff will go back to the drawing board and address the lapses.
" We have put the result behind us and the focus now is to make sure we rectify the mistakes before our next game," he asserted.
Ajax Queens next game will be at home against Rines Women Football Club .
The Football Queens remain second in Victoria group on seven points in four games. The team resumes training on Tuesday at Biira training ground.
